From the wild Black Country of the English Midlands come the kings of Black Country & Western: Highway Dave and the Varmints! These guys take the roots of bluegrass, the twang of Nashville, and add the odd thrashville for good measure. Influences such as Johnny Cash, The Byrds and Steve Earle are all mixed up with some Worcestershire sauce, a helluva rhythm section, chicken pickin' licks and distinctive harmony vocals to produce supercharged country music for all music lovers.
